Gray cabinets, on the other hand, are the color of choice for 11% of homeowners. The popularity of white cabinets remained unchanged since 2017. While still quite popular among homeowners, wood cabinets, on the other hand, fell by 3%. Gray cabinets and it subdued hues are getting popular as it rose by 3% in popularity rankings. While there were variances in the popular kitchen cabinet colors, color choice for hardware is still a matte nickel. Other popular options for hardware are oil-rubbed bronze and matte black.
White cabinets are still huge in the design world, mainly because of its easy maintenance. This color choice for kitchen cabinets stands every trend, and it is also easy for homeowners to spruce it up.

When it comes to the most popular kitchen styles, the report showed that most homeowners went for custom (40%) or semi-custom (34%) kitchen cabinets. Most of the respondents chose Shaker cabinets, with recessed panel cabinet doors. Shaker style cabinets are known for its five-piece door that comes with a recessed center panel. It is a definite crowd favorite for its clean and sophisticated look. For a more modern kitchen cabinet style, some homeowners choose slab drawer fronts or add decorative edge detailing.
While farmhouse or country-style kitchen cabinets are also gaining popularity these days, transitional and contemporary kitchen cabinet styles are still widely popular among homeowners.
